A Two-Season Greenlight In mid-December, the network made a major announcement: Haha, You Clowns has been picked up for a further two seasons. This offers showrunner Joe Cappa a massive runway to further explore the story of the Campbell family. The series follows three well-mannered teenage brothers whose defining trait is their deep love for their single father, with Cappa voicing for all four key characters. It offers something unexpectedly cozy about following this charming family go about their simple existence. Previously, creator Joe Cappa expressed his desire to help comedy break out of its long-running layer of irony. He linked this trend to the rise of certain blockbuster franchises. “There's this level of irony that we are trapped in,” explained Cappa. “It feels as if we have to know we’re the cleverest viewer in the room when we're watching stuff. I feel like we've been doing this for 10 years, and we need to laugh at something different now.
